In 1966, W.J.Young at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, carried out a series of Scientific tests and technical examinations on the Boston Throne. |
These tests have been criticised for their technique, and the conclusions drawn from the results. In 1995, the tests were repeated by the MFA, resulting in the same conclusion that the Boston Throne is an authentic piece of ancient sculpture. |
